NORTHEAST, SOUTH DAKOTA - This morning, many roads in northeast, South Dakota have been reported to be slippery according to the South Dakota Department of Transportation. Interstate 29 north of Brookings up in Watertown and towards Sisseton has reports of scattered slippery spots.
Today snow is expected to continue over the area before coming to an end later on this afternoon. Snow amounts of two to four inches with isolated higher amounts are possible in the northeast. Lesser amounts of one to three inches are possible across north-central and east-central, South Dakota.
Another round of snow comes back to the state on Wednesday night and into Thursday. At this time, there is a good chance of four inches or more across the northern half of the state.
