SOUTH DAKOTAS WEATHER IS ALWAYS ON OUR RADAR

Winter Wonderland in the Hills

013020C

The northern regions of the Black Hills have been receiving snow throughout the day.  The snows has caused some issues on the roadways where the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) has placed US Highway 85 from the Wyoming State Line to US Highway 14A at Cheyenne Crossing under a No Travel Advised.

The agency is advising that visibility is near zero with scattered blowing snow in open areas, slippery highways and numerous areas of packed snow and deep snow drifts.

The snow will start to come to an end later on this evening giving way to partly cloudy skies and temperatures into the mid 40s.
