SOUTH DAKOTAS WEATHER IS ALWAYS ON OUR RADAR

Winter Once Again

SOUTH DAKOTA - Winter will once again show up as a cold front from the north will drop out temperatures to below normal values.

Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for the northern and central, Black Hills along with the northern foot hills for tonight and into Monday morning.  Heavy wet snow is expected with amounts from six to ten inches.

Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for the rest of west-central, South Dakota and down towards southwest, South Dakota.  Snow amounts here will be from two to five inches.

The cold front will move southward today bring the chance of rain for the north and west-central, South Dakota.  A isolated thunderstorm cannot be ruled out across the Black Hills.  By nightfall, temperatures will cool down changing the rain over to snow.  The central and eastern half of the state may see some flakes of snow, but amounts will be from none to little amounts.
