This weekend will start the changes to the region as a pool of cold temperatures will push into the area.  On Saturday, conditions will become breezy with warm temperatures ahead of a cold front and low-pressure system that will be sliding through.  Behind the system, chances of rain or snow will be possible for the western and northern parts of the state.  Snow will become likely over the southwest by Saturday night.  Temperatures on Saturday will be from the mid-40s in the northwest to the lower 60s in the southeast.

By Sunday, skies will be mostly cloudy, and temperatures will be much colder.  Highs will be only into the lower 30s to the lower 40s.  Chance of rain or snow will possible, mainly across the south.

Chances for light snow return once again on Monday for the west becoming statewide by Monday night and into Tuesday.
