NORTHERN, SOUTH DAKOTA - Another storm system looks to impact the state by the middle of the work week bring another round of winter weather. The National Weather Service Offices in Rapid City and Aberdeen have placed northern counties from Buffalo to Aberdeen under a Winter Storm Watch starting as soon as tomorrow evening going through Thursday.
A band of heavy snowfall, possibly up to nine inches, is expected across the watch area by Thursday afternoon. Besides the heavy snow chances, temperatures might be warm enough to support a wintry mix which could cause some light ice accumulations.
