A powerful April storm is forecast to move across the area bring rain, wintry mix and snow to the state.  Already Winter Storm Watches are in effect for Tuesday night through late Wednesday night.

The Black Hills forecast is calling for rain likely develop by late Tuesday.  The rain is expected to change over to snow by late Tuesday night and continue into Wednesday.  The snow is forecast to come to an end across the Black Hills by Wednesday night.

There is potential for 6 inches or more of snow across the Black Hills but remains uncertainty on the exact track and timing of the system as it crosses the region, so be sure to monitor the latest forecasts for updates.
