Warmer temperatures are moving into all of South Dakota for today and into this weekend. Today skies will be mostly cloudy with areas of dense fog across the east. An isolated rain shower cannot be ruled out in southern, South Dakota. Highs from the upper 50s to the mid 70s are expected.
By the overnight hours, skies will remain mostly cloudy with a chance of rain showers and thunderstorms statewide. Plan on some fog for those in the north and west. Overnight lows from the lower 30s to near 50 degrees forecasted.
Saturday continues with the warm temperatures with highs around 60 degree to the lower 70s. There is a chance of rain showers mainly in the later afternoon and overnight hours. An isolated strong thunderstorm cannot be ruled out near the Nebraska/South Dakota in south-central, South Dakota.
