SOUTH DAKOTA - This week will be great in the weather department with dry and warm conditions statewide. The highs for today will be coldest, ranging from around 40 degrees to about 60 degrees. The skies will be sunny to mostly sunny. Winds will not be strong like they were on Halloween, mainly 5 to 15mph in the east to 10 to 20mph in the west.
Tomorrow the warm-up begins! The highs for Monday will be from the upper 50s to the lower 70s with west to southwest winds from 5 to 15mph.
The warm weather will continue through the work week before signs of changes come on Friday. Friday's highs will be from near 70 degrees in south-central South Dakota to the upper 50s across the north. On Saturday, the next chance of rain or snow starts to move into western South Dakota with partly cloudy skies in the east. This chance of precipitation will spread eastward by Saturday night. Highs will be into the mid-60s to the lower 50s.
