SOUTH DAKOTA - Tuesday and Wednesday brings the next chance of precipitation to South Dakota. Today the skies will remain dry with highs from the 30s, 40s and near 50 degrees.
By Tuesday and into Wednesday, a storm system will move across the region. This will bring the risk of precipitation and gusty northwest winds. Snow amounts from this system will be light with mainly amounts under two inches across central and eastern, South Dakota. The best risk for the most accumulations will be across the James River Valley back towards southeast, South Dakota. The west looks to see little or no snow accumulations from this event.
