The sun is trying its hardest to return back to South Dakota, but mostly cloudy skies are still holding across central and eastern regions of the state.  Those in the southwest are seeing the sun this late morning or early afternoon with temperatures into the upper 40s to lower 50s.  The east still has readings into the upper 30s to the low to mid 40s.

The forecast is calling for decreasing clouds today with highs into the mid 40s to around 60 degrees.  Dry conditions will stay into the overnight before the next chance of rain showers across the southeast during the afternoon before widespread chances by Friday night.  Highs tomorrow will be into the 50s and 60s.
