Increase humidity and more instability is forecast to move northward into South Dakota for Sunday. This will bring the potential for severe thunderstorms to the region with the best risk over eastern, South Dakota.
There remains much uncertainty as showers and drizzle are forecast to impact the southeast with widespread cloud cover. Thunderstorms development may be impacted because of the persistence low clouds and cooler temperatures.
If thunderstorms do develop, the thinking is that the time for the best risk for severe thunderstorms will be late Sunday afternoon and into the evening.
