SOUTH DAKOTAS WEATHER IS ALWAYS ON OUR RADAR

SOUTH DAKOTA - Winter Storm Warnings are up for southwest, South Dakota and up towards the Black Hills where 6 to 18 inches of heavy, wet snow is expected.  Winter Weather Advisories are on the edge of the warning where lesser amounts of snow is in the forecast.

Out towards the east, a Winter Storm Watch popped up for east-central, South Dakota as the risk of heavy snow is possible.  This area may see snow amounts of 4 to 7 inches by Monday afternoon.

By this afternoon, rain showers, possibly mixing with snow in the Black Hills will have spread across southwest, South Dakota.  Tonight, rain will change over to heavy, wet snow across the Southwest.  Rain will continue northward impacting south-central and southeast regions of the state.

On Sunday afternoon, much of western, South Dakota will see snow with rain mixing with snow across central, South Dakota and just rain in the east.

The western half of the state will see snow coming to an end Sunday night, with snow chances across the east.  This chance of snow will continued into Monday.
