SOUTH DAKOTAS WEATHER IS ALWAYS ON OUR RADAR

Storm Reports: August 5th

Continued severe storms impacted South Dakota once again, this time across southwest, South Dakota.  On Monday, hail to the size of golf balls and wind gust of 60mph was reported.

A severe thunderstorm developed over Custer County during the mid afternoon.  The storm brought ping pong ball size hail (1.50") to about seven miles west of Hermosa and quarter size hail (1.00") northwest of Hermosa.

As the storm moved into Fall River County, 60mph winds and golf ball size (1.75") was reported eight miles east Smithwick.

Unfortunately additional chances of severe weather is expected for the same region during the work week.
