Snow chances return to South Dakota on Sunday, but staying across southeast, South Dakota. Starting around mid morning, precipitation will move out of Nebraska and Iowa starting to impact the far regions of southeast, South Dakota. This precipitation will continue northward through the morning and into the afternoon hours.
By the evening hours, the snow will start to move away from South Dakota and continue its track across Minnesota and Iowa.
Snowfall amounts will be the highest across far southeast, South Dakota where 1 to 3 inches is possible for Sioux City, Vermillion, Elk Point and even back towards Yankton and Beresford. Lesser amounts, mainly around an inch, is possible for Sioux Falls, Dell Rapids and back into far southwest, Minnesota.
