Those white flakes of snow have returned to South Dakota showing signs that changes are on there way. The Perkins County Sheriff's Office shared this photo on Facebook of snow coming down in Bison, South Dakota. Temperatures throughout the day were into the 30s with some locations, not even reaching 40 degrees.
The northwest was not the only location in the state that saw snow, but areas of the Black Hills also had their share of winter.
