SOUTH DAKOTA - Record heat has hit South Dakota with temperatures reaching into the 90s and 100s across the region.  Within the city of Rapid City, their old record of 101 back in 1931, was broken yesterday with a high of 106.

Temperatures for today are forecast to once again be into the 90s and 100s with much of the area under a Heat Advisory.

This heat wave starts to come to an end tomorrow as cooler weather and chances of rain return.
