A system coming out of the Rockies will bring a chance of light rain and snow across western, South Dakota and the rest of the state later tonight and into Thursday. Snow amounts will mainly be under one inch with the highest chances of measurable snow will be over the western and southern regions of the states.
Larger impacts of winter weather will occur over Iowa, eastern Nebraska and southeast Minnesota where Winter Weather Advisories are in effect. If you are planning on traveling in that region, plan on some winter weather driving.
