One Injured at Sharps Corner

SOUTHWEST, SOUTH DAKOTA - A powerful supercell thunderstorm that started in Wyoming, rolled across the Black Hills, and continued its track into southwest, South Dakota caused significant damage and injuring one.

At Sharps Corner in Oglala Lakota County, one person was injured from an extensive roof, and other structural damage to the Porcupine Dialysis Center as powerful thunderstorm winds blew through.

This thunderstorm continued southeast and brought a tornado near the Swett area in Bennett County.
