A very pheasant day came after a cold front brought severe thunderstorms on Saturday. Temperatures on Sunday were into the 60s and 70s with a few 80s in the west.
The warmest spot was in Pine Ridge with a high temperature of 83. Madison was the coolest location in the state with their high only reaching 68 degrees.
Other locations like Chamberlain, Huron and Sioux Falls saw a high of 74 and in Mitchell, Pierre and Yankton their highs got to 75 degrees. 80 degrees highs were found in Buffalo in northwest, South Dakota and in Philip in southwest, South Dakota. Rapid City Airport had a high of 78 degree and in Watertown a high of 70 degrees was recorded.
