Moderate Snow for Late Saturday

A storm system looks to fly into the region bring a quick hit of moderate snow by later in the day on Saturday and into Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The National Weather Service has already posted Winter Storm Watches for east-central, South Dakota, as this location looks to receive the most snow. Generally, three to seven inches of snow is possible in the watch with higher amounts expected near the Minnesota / South Dakota border.

Snow amounts across northwest, north-central, and northeast, South Dakota generally look to be from one to three inches with mainly next to none in the southwest.
