SOUTH DAKOTAS WEATHER IS ALWAYS ON OUR RADAR

SOUTH DAKOTA - Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for southern and eastern, South Dakota starting as soon as tonight going into Tuesday and Tuesday night.  Snow is expected to move into southwest, South Dakota by this evening and quickly spread north and east during the overnight hours.

Snow is forecast to continue throughout the day and at times be heavy.  By Tuesday evening and into Tuesday night, snow is expected to exit the state giving way to dry conditions for the rest of the work week.

Snowfall amounts will generally be from two to five inches with higher amounts across the southeast where five to seven inches are expected.  The northwest will see the lesser amounts where under two inches is in the forecast.
