SOUTH DAKOTA - Today will be mild with a couple of rain showers across the east during the morning hours. Starting later tonight, off and on chances of rain and snow is expected to impact the state.
Southeast, South Dakota:
Besides a few rain showers pushing across the region today, today will turn out to be a great day with temperatures into the 50s and 60s. By Wednesday temperatures will be from the mid 50s to the mid 30s with a chance of mainly rain, but cannot rule out a couple flakes of snow.
Northeast, South Dakota:
Areas of fog and light rain showers expected for the eastern half of northeast, South Dakota this morning before giving way to warmer temperatures into the 50s and 60s. By tonight and into Wednesday, chances of rain or snow are expected with accumulating snow less then two inches possible. Temperatures will be into the 30s with a few 40s may be found across central, South Dakota.
Western, South Dakota:
Some morning fog is possible giving way to mostly sunny skies and highs into the 50s and 60s. Tonight and into Wednesday will start chances for rain and snow through the rest of the work week. Snowfall amounts are expected to be light with mainly under an inch or two with higher amounts across the Black Hills with two to four inches in the forecast.
