SOUTH DAKOTAS WEATHER IS ALWAYS ON OUR RADAR

Looking Back: 08-25-2017

Two years ago, a line of severe thunderstorms formed over South Dakota bring isolated large hail and damaging winds.  According to the National Weather Service Office in Sioux Falls, hail to the size of Ping Pong Balls and strong winds up to 60mph was observed during this evening.

Near Madison, vendor tents along with porta potties and trash cans were blown over at Prairie Village Jamboree.  In the towns of Winfred and Howard many tree branches were blown down from these thunderstorms.

Besides the severe weather reports, heavy rain reports excessing over two inches were reported.
