Any rain that is currently falling in eastern, South Dakota will change over to freezing rain and then to snow. By late this afternoon and into the evening hours, all the precipitation would have moved into Minnesota.
Winds are forecast to remain strong with wind gust up to 55mph to 60mph throughout the day. The winds are forecast to decrease by later this evening and into the overnight hours.
Blizzard Warnings remain in effect for northeast, central and western, South Dakota today. Winter Storm Warnings remain for the Black Hills, south-central and parts of east-central and southeast, South Dakota.
