WESTERN, SOUTH DAKOTA - Parts of Wyoming and Montana hosted a development of thunderstorms during the afternoon hours on Monday. The storms then came together and strengthen as they moved into South Dakota.
Massive hail up to 2.75 inches in diameter or baseball size hail were reported over the Black Hills of west-central, South Dakota and into the Rapid City region.
Has the storms move over the Black Hills, one suspected tornado was reported near the Cement Ridge region. Damage to trees were reported and a National Weather Service Survey Team is planning on checking out the site.
