SOUTH DAKOTA - Already the southwest corner of the state is seeing some rain showers moving through the area. By later on this afternoon there is a chance for isolated thunderstorms to develop. Earlier today, the Storm Prediction Center (SPC) had place parts of northeast and east-central, South Dakota under marginal risk. With new data that came in, the SPC had dropped the marginal risk for the area. An isolated strong storm with small hail is still possible, but the risk for severe thunderstorms is very minor.
