Icy and slippery conditions in the northeast, South Dakota is creating some issues for travelers.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol posted this image on Facebook of a crash along Interstate 29 near mile marker 199. The agency stated that icy roads and high winds were the cause of the crash. Luckily nobody was injured.
At 6:45 am CST, the South Dakota Department of Transportation has reported mainly icy conditions along Interstate 29 north of Watertown and south of US Highway 12. The rest of the roads in the area were reported scattered icy and slippery spots.
