SOUTH DAKOTA - Temperatures on Tuesday were well above normal with highs reaching the middle 80s to the upper 90s. Buffalo in northwest, South Dakota was one town close to the centenary mark with a high of 98 degrees. At this time of year, Buffalo's normal high is 66 degrees.
Changes come today has a strong cold front will drop temperatures back to normal for the rest of the work week. Chances of rain also will be possible today and then the eastern half see chances for Thursday and Friday.
