South Dakota’s Weather is Always on Our Radar

Heavy Snows Coming

Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for the Black Hills starting 6:00pm MDT this evening and continuing until 6:00am Wednesday morning.  A very strong low pressure system will push moisture into the region and cold enough temperatures over the Black Hills.  This combine will create the risk of heavy wet snow over the Black Hills and snow amounts of 6 to 12 inches with locally higher amounts.

Travel could be very difficult at time, especially in the overnight hours when highways become snow covered and slick.
