ROBERTS COUNTY, SD - In northeast, South Dakota the Roberts County Sheriff's Office was busy with vehicle crashes caused by slippery and icy conditions.  Northwest winds increased during the day and caused snow to blow across the road and started to stick.  As temperatures dropped, the conditions became icy and hazardous for motorists.

The agency reminds drivers to slow down and do not use cruise control during these type of conditions.
