Front to Bring Light Precipitation

SOUTH DAKOTA - A cold front will start to move across the area later today bring the chance of light precipitation.  This precipitation will start in western, South Dakota by this afternoon and continued chances into the overnight hours.  The chances will spread eastward as the front continues its track east.

Snow amounts for today (ending at midnight) will remain under one inch.  Total snowfall amounts up to two inches are possible by tomorrow, over the Black Hills.

Light snow, possibly mixing with light rain will start to move into the western, South Dakota by late this afternoon and into the evening hours.  The light snow will then move from east to west during the overnight hours.  Once this front leaves the area, dry conditions will return with cooler temperatures for a few days.
