SOUTHEAST, SOUTH DAKOTA - This morning, early morning fog greeted motorists on their Sunday morning commute. At the Sioux Falls Airport, visibility dropped to a quarter of a mile shortly before 8:00 am CST this morning.
Up north in Brookings, the airport there reported visibility of a quarter-mile with freezing fog conditions. As you continued north along Interstate 29, the fog conditions improved, with Watertown reporting visibility of four miles.
Today's forecast is calling for the fog to burn off by mid-morning giving way to partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies and temperatures well above average.
