Fog Haunts the Northeast

NORTHEAST, SOUTH DAKOTA - The northeast region of the state was haunted by foggy conditions on Saturday.

Travelers north of Watertown on Interstate 29 found themselves going from clear skies to dense fog and reduce visibilities in a short distance. The low clouds and fog could be seen from miles away, looking as vanishing the highway into another world.

The fog continued to stay in the region and slow moved southward taking over the Watertown area.  At the Watertown Airport, visibilities went from ten miles at 4:00pm down to one mile by 6:00pm.
