On Thursday, a rapidly developing thunderstorm north of Sioux Falls brought a brief tornado. The National Weather Service Office in Sioux Falls reported an EF-0 tornado developed about five miles west of Crooks, South Dakota in Minnehaha County.
The maximum winds in the tornado was about 75mph which caused damage to a roof barn.
The tornado only travel about 0.4 of mile and had a width of five yards.
This severe thunderstorm continued to across northern Minnehaha County before moving into Minnesota.
