Cold Front May Bring Storms


SOUTH DAKOTA - A surface front is forecast to surge into the central regions of South Dakota by early this afternoon, providing the focus for thunderstorm development. These thunderstorms are predicted to become strong to severe with the best risk across southern and eastern, South Dakota. Large hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes are possible.

Timing of these thunderstorms looks to be from 1pm to 9pm CDT across the west to about 3pm to 9pm across central, South Dakota and about 8pm to 2am for far eastern, South Dakota.
