A weather system is forecast to move into the region pushing snow in the state tomorrow and continuing into Tuesday. The heaviest snow amounts are forecast to impact the northern Black Hills where 6 to 12 inches are possible. Winter Storm Warnings are up for the area.

Snow amounts will be lighter across the plains of western, South Dakota with amounts mainly remaining under four inches. The eastern side of the state looks to received the lowest amounts with amounts under one inch.
