SOUTH DAKOTAS WEATHER IS ALWAYS ON OUR RADAR

Another Round for the Hills

013120E

By Sunday and into Monday, a surface low-pressure system will develop over Colorado and move east into the central plains. As the storm system does this, snow will push into the region bring the risk of six inches or more of snow accumulations to the Black Hills.

Because of this threat, the National Weather Service Office in Rapid City has placed the Black Hills under a Winter Storm Watch starting Sunday evening and continuing into Monday. For more information about weather alerts, please visit our weather alerts page.
