SOUTH DAKOTA - Your Halloween will be warmer than what it has been, but a cold front will push through the region, bring some powerful winds, and making the air feel colder. The National Weather Service has placed northwest South Dakota under a High Wind Warning for forecast gust as high as 60 to 65mph. Other regions like north-central, central, south-central, and northeast, South Dakota, are under a Wind Advisory today as wind gust could reach 40 to 50mph.
Today's forecast highs will be from the middle 40s to the mid 50s with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Some wind chill readings will be into the 20s.
Tonight, temperatures will drop into the 20s with a few 30s in the Black Hills.
